What is korr ?

korr is a studio run as a collective, bringing together professionals who can tackle a wide range of missions around modular construction and DfMA. We also cover decarbonization, building tech & data, and the business models that make these approaches scalable.

What is the scope of the missions that korr delivers ?

Our work is bespoke to your challenge: we can support a specific construction project, a product/platform strategy, or a broader shift such as a new internal decarbonization policy. We typically work end-to-end-from strategy and feasibility to delivery support and rollout.

When should korr be involved ?

The sooner, the better ! DfMA and modular, low carbon and smart enabled buildings benefits are maximized when decisions are made upstream (concept, design strategy, supply chain, and economics). But it’s never “too late”: we can jump in mid-stream to de-risk, reframe, or accelerate delivery.

Who can work with korr ?

Any stakeholder in construction and real estate: architects, consulting engineers, general contractors, owners and asset managers, developers (private or public), industrials, tenants and operators. Our references span projects involving all of these actors.

What is DfMA ?

DfMA is a product-development approach that combines design for manufacture and design for assembly to simplify parts and processes, reducing cost and time while improving quality by considering production constraints early. In construction, it often means designing building elements for off-site manufacture and fast, reliable on-site assembly using standardized components.
